What can I say that others haven't said? This album isn't the next musical daredevil or anything, but who cares? It's happy, feel good, pleasant, and put together well. I have a feeling this will still be in my playlist years from now. It's just so darn pleasant and pretty to listen to. Reminds me a great deal of Death Cab for Cutie - to be honest the first time I heard Fireflies, I thought it was a Death Cab song. When Fergie jumped on the bandwagon with these guys i was like okay. "Elephunk" grew on me like mold and I had to go buy the cd. Then came "monkey business" and i was at the store on its out date. As for this one, it's not better than the others but it's up there. This group grew on me, because they are always updating which is good. They were good without Fergie at first but now they're better. So hopefully they keep improving on their styles so I could once again be in that line when they drop a new cd. When it has came down to Bon Jovi, they honestly haven't delivering as the band they have shown in strength from their 80's popularity. Nevertheless, they still keep trying to deliver strong songs. Unfortunately, that honestly isn't completely the case with their latest single, We Weren't Born To Follow, the first single from their latest album, The Circle, isn't as striking as was with their earlier power ballads like Livin' On A Prayer, and It's My Life. I just didn't feel the unique chemistry that Bon Jovi had shown for their 25 years of joyous success. Honestly for Jon Bon Jovi and crew, they need to deliver a much more potent song that can drive the crowds home. Hopefully, their next single can be much more mind-blowing, and something that will follow more with a high note.

I'm not even going to get into the fact that Weezer named their new album "Raditude" or that said album features a guest appearence by 'Lil Wayne. Instead of bombarding their choice to completely commercialize themselves, lets get to the music. Overall, it left me with mixed feelings. On one side are some nice little gems like IWYT, Put Me Back Together, and Trippin' Down the Freeway. On the other hand are some trully awful decisions, i.e. "Love is The Answer" and "Can't Stop Partying." Weezer typically sounds best when in their comfort zone. Its not a bad CD by any means, but it just doesn't stick with me the way the first few Weezer albums did (I've yet to here Make Believe and TRA in completion, so I can't speak for those).
