LoveGame Decide Now

Lady GaGa is set to revive the '70s disco scene (with some Madonna mystique thrown in) She's worn elephant hats, bubble dresses, a gown made from Kermit the Frogs--the ultimate eccentric disco diva. In "LoveGame",she makes disco twist and shout. It's a love game, the beat is sick--and she wants to ride the disco stick. The rhythm, the melody, the lyrics--all add up to a guilty pleasure. There's plenty of campiness to make it a sweet pop treat. This song would be perfect in a tribute to the original womanizing Starbuck in the ORIGINAL "Battlestar Galactica." (and yes, according to that series, disco was the music of the spheres) Play the love game!Get more detail about LoveGame.

Low Price Christmas/ Sarajevo 12/24 (Instrumental)

A few years ago, I sat in the car around Christmas listening to a rock station or something, then I heard this track, and I was blown away. It was a rock orchestra with all the elements of a classical symphony, containing a great song structure that creates a great atmosphere. It starts off slow, then slowly starts into the marching beats of war, then launches into the all-out assault of battle. And best of all, it isn't classical music, it's rock. Pure rockin' blazin' guitars that leave you satisfied to the utmost.

A Christmas classic, and a true masterpiece from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. If you haven't done so already, then check out a Christmas Eve in Sarajevo. You certainly won't be bored.Get more detail about Christmas/ Sarajevo 12/24 (Instrumental).

Discount Before I Self-Destruct [Explicit]

I don't understand the good reviews this CD is getting. This album is EXACTLY the same as his other 3 CD's. It has some "gangster" songs on there with tough talk, then about 5 pop songs for women. I guess people are saying this is a good album because it has less girl songs on it then the other ones or something?

I really didn't like this album. It had a couple of good beats such as the beat on "The Invitation" or the RZA styled beat on "Strong Enough" but the rest of the album isn't too great.

50 Cent gives us another recycled album. No concepts, just tough talk and club songs. Yet another album that gets a 0/10 from me. If you want to listen to some good music by 50 Cent I would recommend you downloading his unreleased album, "The Power of a Dollar". To this date, that is the only decent thing he has put out worth listening to.Get more detail about Before I Self-Destruct [Explicit].

Cheap Tru Thoughts World Music MP3 Sampler

This is flesh and blood music. These are real musicians working up a sweat by banging out some butt-shaking beats. This is world funk. These tunes are organic for the most part, with acoustic drum kits and unplugged strumming guitars, but there is some electronic spatter mixed into a couple songs. Of course the bass is plugged in, how else would you get those deep swells of sonic bottom end boom. A few of the tunes are punctuated with the right touch of horns. The grooves are up and the mood is even higher. Try sitting still...Get more detail about Tru Thoughts World Music MP3 Sampler.

Purchase Play On

Carrie Underwood has done it once again! Her third album, "Play On" is by har her most outstanding, mature, and strongest album to date! From the galloping opening number "Cowboy Casanova" to the encouraging title track "Play On", this album is definately a crowd pleaser! Any people that were on the fence about being a fan of Miss Underwood will definately now be strong supporters of this incredibly talented vocalist. There is something for everyone on this album including the spunky, and fierce "Songs Like This", "Quitter", and "Undo It" that make you want to sing along to them at the top of your lungs. Then there are the empowering anthems and heartfelt ballads like "Change" and "Temporary Home" that truely showcase the vocal talent that Underwood has. One of the most outstanding tracks has to be "What Can I Say" which is a duet with her and the band Sons Of Sylvia. The emotion that pours out of this duet is absolutely magical! There are many other fantastic songs on "Play On" that just further prove how much of a brilliant singer and songwriter Underwood is. I hope that anyone that hasn't purchased their copy of this album yet will do so as soon as possible! You will not be dissapointed one bit. "Play On" will go down in history as one of the best albums of this generation. So go grab your copy, pop it in your cd player or iPod, take a listen for yourself. You won't regret it. Rock On. Carrie On. Play On.Get more detail about Play On.

Sunshine Of Your Love This instant

I doubted I would really enjoy a cover of this classic, and a lyric-less one to boot? Nah. However, I gave it a shot (it was free), and I'm happy I did. Excellent production. Sounds like what Eric Clapton might have done with this if asked to make an instrumental version. The lead guitar almost seems to sing the words in places - its got that wha-wha tone - with another great guitar carrying the main melodic/rhythmic line of the original. Brian Tarquin's skill is really amazing, a wee bit busy here and there, but never overwhelming. I like the way the keyboards get a chance to shine, too, later in the cut. I listened to the Clapton version I have from The Cream of Clapton afterward, and the original actually suffered a bit in comparison (but I think that could be the fault of the production - it sounded a bit empty) - maybe there's a better cut by Clapton out there than the one I own.Get more detail about Sunshine Of Your Love.

If you wished Sly and the Familiy Stone had been able to keep it together, this group and this music is for you. They may sound a bit uptight from time to time, but when they loosen up, you can alomost see paisly shirts and bell bottom pants. Don't mistake these folks for a cover band. Turkish Hits Vol. 1 Best Quality

I've only listened to the album once -- and picked out 5 songs I know I'll really like;
Askim Baksana Bana
Senden Baska
Çakkidi
Dilli Düdük
Yol Arkadasim

I love world music, so I was thrilled I got to get this album free -- I recommend getting it, even if you have to buy it.

The music is really catchy, and beautiful. The feel is like pop, kind of, but being Turkish there are non-conventional instruments and sounds. Some of them are more hip-hop, others maybe fall into a folk category. All in all a great variety, I enjoy it.Get more detail about Turkish Hits Vol. 1.

The Beach Boys Classics...Selected By Brian Wilson Get it now!

Beach Boy Best of's are only good for grabbing a better master of something and this offers only a new stereo remix of Heroes and Villians. The single version has been out in stereo for over 10 years on a boxed set.

If you are new to the Beach Boys, buy the following albums in this order:
Pet Sounds (The 1996 remaster -stereo and mono.)
Wild Honey (as good as Pet Sounds, but different)
20/20
The Beach Boys Today!
Friends
Summer Days and Summer Nights
Shut Down
All Summer Long
Surf's Up
Sunflower

The other albums I recommend only for the most die-hard fan as they don't come close to the above.

I love listening to Brian working in the studio with the great musicians who made these records: Hal Blaine, Carol Kaye, Lyle Ritz, Don Randi, Glen Cambell, Barney Kessel, etc. For this, the box sets are nice.

From assorted source you can assemble 80% of the original Smile. It's far better than the overly slick remake. The Beach Boy voices had a magic. Combined with the great arrangements and musicians it adds up to something that will never be reproduced.

Happy Buy Now

Already under-performing in the UK, Leona Lewis's latest effort seems set to make sure her second LP does a Mika (ie; an artist whose first LP goes through the roof only to see their second sink without trace.)

Only 2 albums in and Lewis already sounds tired and old hat. This ordinary Ryan Tedder (rapidly becoming the new Diane Warren) tune is typically oversung by Lewis in her usual sloppy style. She has little respect for the melody, slurs the lyrics and generally sounds as bored as I was listening to it. She was really lucky with 'Bleeding Love', everybody bought the 'Spirit' album expecting more of the same only to get an unending series of overly dramatic ballads that drained the soul. Methinks the people won't be fooled twice... Get more detail about Happy.

Greatest Hits Decide Now

i guess i just don't do punk. i know it's uncool to trash the ramones, but having 10,000+ songs ranging from jazz, rock, pop, dance, hiphop, folk, indie, and more, this moronic, puerile stuff leaves me cold. i disliked it in 1979 and it hasn't improved on sampling their 'greatest hits' today. i'm not prone to neg reviews but just had to burst the 5-star bubble. if this is your bag you'll know within the first 10 secs because it's all the same.Get more detail about Greatest Hits.

Lowest Price Body Language - featuring T-Pain

I was really quite surprised by the song. A lot more mature for Jesse then in past songs. I've got a 10 years old grandniece who's so in to Jesse, its not funny; so I do know some of his work. Now I will admit; I am a fan of his song 'Just Go', but didn't really expect to like this song. I actually got the song via-myspace for free. One of the reasons why I did download this song. But after playing it for my niece (the 10 yrs' mother), I discovered what a really good song it was. Fan of McCartney should be please. If you're not a fan, give it a listen, you may be surprised as well.

Low Price Strange Overtones

You could sneak this in the middle of a "David Byrne" playist, and you would never realize that it wasn't the Talking Heads. I find myself listening to this song and liking it when it plays, yet I don't find myself seeking it out. The rhythm and percussion are quite enjoyable; however, the repetitive melody gets tedious.Get more detail about Strange Overtones.
