Already under-performing in the UK, Leona Lewis's latest effort seems set to make sure her second LP does a Mika (ie; an artist whose first LP goes through the roof only to see their second sink without trace.)
Only 2 albums in and Lewis already sounds tired and old hat. This ordinary Ryan Tedder (rapidly becoming the new Diane Warren) tune is typically oversung by Lewis in her usual sloppy style. She has little respect for the melody, slurs the lyrics and generally sounds as bored as I was listening to it. She was really lucky with 'Bleeding Love', everybody bought the 'Spirit' album expecting more of the same only to get an unending series of overly dramatic ballads that drained the soul.
